Salisbury Glass turns 70!
Platinum for the Queen, Platinum for Salisbury Glass! 2022 marked 70 years of the company being in business, what a remarkable milestone considering our humble beginnings back in 1952. The company still prides itself and continues to operate on three main fundamentals that were built into its foundation and are its very fabric; quality products and customer satisfaction whilst empowering employees. We have many long-standing customer relationships, some spanning across two, three, four and five decades which is a true testament to our quality products and customer service. Salisbury Glass also has a great employee retention record which boasts 15+ staff members that have been with company for 25 years or more and 70+ who have been with the company for 5 years or more. It is truly a family at Salisbury Glass.
Employees past and present came together on 9 September 2022 to celebrate Salisbury Glass’ 70th birthday. It was a nice and sunny day towards the tail end of summer that had a variety of activities going on. Tug of war had many belt out in laughter as some were dragged across the green grass, a spirited football game played, there was a hog roast, a live band, a raffle that featured many great prizes with proceeds going to the xxx charity and there was a celebratory display of photographs along the years that featured staff and products of old. It was really a great day of celebrating everything the company has achieved and thanking everyone who has contributed to its success along the way. Here is to continued success and looking onwards to our Oak anniversary at 80 years and a Centenary at 100 years further down the line.
